Production

Capovilla's Hybrid Grape Distillate is made from estate-grown hybrid grapes, varieties once widely cultivated in Veneto and Friuli and particularly appreciated for their distinctive aromatic character. It is produced according to the distillery's traditional artisanal method, with double distillation in small copper bain-marie stills to preserve the identity of the raw material. The spirit is then rested in stainless-steel containers for as long as necessary and diluted using spring water from the Monte Grappa massif.

Organoleptic Characteristics

On the nose, delicate aromas of small red berries emerge alongside the distinctive wild “foxy” note typical of hybrid grapes. The palate is vinous, gentle and harmonious, with an approachable character and a distinctive aromatic profile.

Occasion and Pairing

Ideal as a sipping spirit or enjoyed at the end of a meal. Its aromatic character also makes it an interesting pairing with dark chocolate and delicate dry pastries.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its aromatic profile, we recommend serving it at approximately 16/18°C.
