TASTING NOTES

The production of Bianco di Custoza is permitted only in the hamlet of the same name, in the municipality of Sommacampagna, in the province of Verona. The blend is 50% Garganega, followed by 30% Trebbiano and Tocai. The vines are grown on the land adjacent to the winery, in Castelnuovo del Garda. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the must ferments at a temperature of 16 degrees only on spontaneous yeasts. Vinification takes place separately and, after a three-month rest on the lees, the blend is created and can vary from year to year. The wine finally rests in the bottle for two months. Custoza is a table wine, fresh and instinctive, a pleasant and very drinkable blend. Straw yellow with greenish reflections, this wine delivers aromas of white flowers, nettles and fresh herbs, and in the mouth it is flavourful yet enveloping. An ideal wine with seafood appetisers and broths or as a summer aperitif to drink with friends. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Poggio delle Grazie

The Poggio delle Grazie winery is a relatively recent addition to the winemaking scene in the Veneto region, but the experience of its founders goes back much further. Raising grape varieties to create their own products has always been one of their biggest dreams, and the establishment of the winery was a first and important step in this direction. Care, attention and dedication to the land and its characteristics leads to the creation of high-quality Veneto wines, and you can taste all of this in every glass of the final product. The hectares of land available to the farm are cultivated with the utmost respect for the land and its unique characteristics, to bring out the best in them. Over time, constant work and skilful blending of innovative techniques and traditional methods have resulted in the production of fine red wines from Veneto, sparkling wines and white wines with a character that is both elegant and assertive. Name and address of producer/distributor: Poggio Delle Grazie - Via Milano, 199, 37014 Castelnuovo del Garda (VR). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
