TASTING NOTES

Production

Founded by Gianni Masciarelli in 1981, the winery is a symbol of the highest excellence in the production of modern Abruzzo wines. This Chardonnay Marina Cvetic is a charming Abruzzo white wine with a brilliant golden hue.

Organoleptic Characteristics

On the nose, it is very intense with distinct citrus and toasted notes. Lemon, mandarin zest and subtle hints of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit. All this is complemented by delightful smoky and nutty notes that make the bouquet broad and enveloping. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a delicate savoury finish that lightens the wine’s body, making it agile, whilst the citrus and smoky notes detected on the nose linger in a long finish.

Occasion and Pairing

Try it with a porcini mushroom risotto or roast or grilled meat.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 12–14°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Masciarelli

The Masciarelli Tenute Agricole winery, founded in 1981 by Gianni Masciarelli, is a symbol of the production of modern Abruzzo wines excellence. The combination of careful processing and enhancement of the land and the region's biodiversity combine to create high-quality wines that are an expression of Abruzzo's terroir. Cantina Masciarelli's vineyards are located in areas where the soil and climate characteristics contribute to enhancing the flavour of Abruzzo wines. The heart of the Masciarelli winery, not far from the province of Chieti, is San Martina sulla Marrucina, but the land extends over three other provinces of Abruzzo, totalling 300 hectares in 13 municipalities. The winery's wine production is therefore known for its variety, producing over 18 labels, including the traditional Trebbiano, Chardonnay and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. The winery's activities have an unbreakable bond with the surrounding area, and it has always been attentive to the preservation of nature in order to offer unique products of great value. Name and address of producer/distributor: Masciarelli - Contrada Gamberale, 2, 66010 San Martino sulla Marrucina (CH). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
