The CDB is Crété Chamberlin's Champagne Grand Cru Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs, a cuvée that expresses the purity of Chardonnay and the elegance of the Côte des Blancs. It is born from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the prestigious Grand Cru terroirs of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger. The long maturation on the yeasts gives complexity and depth, while the low Extra Brut dosage preserves freshness and precision.
On the nose it opens with elegant notes of citrus, white fruit and delicate flowers, accompanied by mineral notes and light shades of bread crust. On the palate it is refined and vertical, with a pleasant freshness, a creamy texture and a long, savoury finish characterised by the typical minerality of the great Chardonnays of the Côte des Blancs.
Perfect as a classy aperitif, it pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, fish tartare and carpaccio. Also excellent at full meal with delicate dishes based on fish, risottos and fresh cheeses.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 8/10°C.
