TASTING NOTES

Production

Louis Roederer's Champagne Brut is born from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes from the best vineyards in Champagne. Winemaking takes place in steel, with some wines maturing in wood to increase complexity. The foam setting follows the Champenois Method, with aging on the yeasts for several years. The Brut dosage is designed to express balance, freshness and elegance.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Bright straw yellow color with golden highlights, fine and persistent perlage. Notes of citrus, apple, peach and white flowers emerge on the nose, accompanied by hints of bread crust and light almond nuances. On the palate it is fresh, creamy and balanced, with good flavour and a long, harmonious finish.

Occasion and Pairing

Elegant and versatile Champagne, ideal as an aperitif but also for a full meal. It pairs with fish, shellfish, appetizers and delicate dishes.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 8/10°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Louis Roederer

The history of Cantina Valerio Lucarelli is long and very interesting. In fact, its production has been uninterrupted for over two hundred years. It was founded in 1791 in San Ginesio, in the province of Macerata, in the Marche region, and has been involved in the production of high-quality wines ever since. Year after year, it has accumulated all kinds of secrets and knowledge about viticulture, handed down from generation to generation and guarded with passion. In the course of time, we have also opened up to some innovations, merging the oldest techniques with modern, cutting-edge ones. The Sangiovese vine variety predominates in the territory of the Vernaccia di Serrapetrona controlled and guaranteed designation of origin. Part of the cultivation is also dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Respect for the soil and its characteristics always comes first, of course, as does great care for the vines at every stage. The end result is high-quality wines from the Marche region that tell the company’s oldest story one glass at a time. Name and address of producer/distributor: Lucarelli - Contrada San Costanzo, 43 - 62026 San Ginesio MC. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
