TASTING NOTES

Production

Bolgheri Rosso Il Seggio is made from 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot. After destemming, the grapes undergo gentle crushing with partial berry breakage. This Bolgheri wine is aged for 15 months in 225-liter French oak barriques (30% new and 70% second-use barrels).

Organoleptic Characteristics

On the nose, it reveals a beautiful fresh and crisp fruit, enriched with mineral and spicy notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with hints of red berry fruit. The tannins are elegant, silky, and enveloping, with great softness. The finish is precise, clean, and lively.

Occasion and Pairing

It pairs excellently with aged cheeses and game meats.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16-18°C.
