Giuseppe Rinaldi's winery is one of the most prestigious producers in Langhe, a Barolo genius. The estate vineyards extend into Barolo's most renowned crus: Brunate, Cannubi, San Lorenzo and Ravera. Its wines age well for decades, are classic and deep capable of telling the story of the terroir. Barolo Tre Tine is made from monovarietal Nebbiolo grapes harvested from the vineyards of Cannubi, San Lorenzo and Ravera. The name originates from the fact that all three vineyards cannot feature on the label, although the practice of blending is embedded in Barolo's cultural tradition. The vineyard adopts a very respectful approach to cultivation, so no chemical treatments are applied, only copper and sulphur are used. Vinification takes place with spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks and long macerations on the skins lasting 30 to 50 days without any temperature control. As is tradition, the wine ages in large Slavonian oak barrels for about 42 months before switching to glass. Intense ruby red in colour, leaning towards garnet, this Barolo Tre Tine has aromas of dog rose and cherry, and notes of balsamic. A signature wine, a champion with extraordinary potential after extended bottle ageing. Perfect paired with mature cheeses or with meat dishes.
