TASTING NOTES

Production

The Bardolino DOC Chiaretto rosé from the Brutti brothers is a blend of native Veronese grape varieties, Corvina and Rondinella, and as such must be produced exclusively in the province of Verona. The grapes are harvested by hand, undergo maceration for 8–10 hours, and the resulting must is fermented at a temperature of 18 degrees to better enhance the aromatic expression. The Chiaretto rests on the fine lees for 3 months and is aged in the bottle for a further two months. E = 290kJ/70kcal per 100ml

Organoleptic Characteristics

Bardolino Chiaretto is always a fresh, summery expression of the two main grape varieties of the Veneto province, home to the Arena. It has a rosé colour with violet hues, and notes of redcurrant and red fruits on the nose. On the palate, it is balanced and fresh, with redcurrant and citrus notes accompanying a pleasant touch of minerality.

Occasion and Pairing

An everyday rosé wine, ideal with white meats, seasonal vegetables, as well as lake fish or fried dishes. Versatile and pleasant.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 10–12°C.

THE WINERY

Poggio delle Grazie

The Poggio delle Grazie winery is a relatively recent addition to the winemaking scene in the Veneto region, but the experience of its founders goes back much further. Raising grape varieties to create their own products has always been one of their biggest dreams, and the establishment of the winery was a first and important step in this direction. Care, attention and dedication to the land and its characteristics leads to the creation of high-quality Veneto wines, and you can taste all of this in every glass of the final product. The hectares of land available to the farm are cultivated with the utmost respect for the land and its unique characteristics, to bring out the best in them. Over time, constant work and skilful blending of innovative techniques and traditional methods have resulted in the production of fine red wines from Veneto, sparkling wines and white wines with a character that is both elegant and assertive. Name and address of producer/distributor: Poggio Delle Grazie - Via Milano, 199, 37014 Castelnuovo del Garda (VR). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
