The Bardolino DOC Chiaretto rosé from the Brutti brothers is a blend of native Veronese grape varieties, Corvina and Rondinella, and as such must be produced exclusively in the province of Verona. The grapes are harvested by hand, undergo maceration for 8–10 hours, and the resulting must is fermented at a temperature of 18 degrees to better enhance the aromatic expression. The Chiaretto rests on the fine lees for 3 months and is aged in the bottle for a further two months. E = 290kJ/70kcal per 100ml
Bardolino Chiaretto is always a fresh, summery expression of the two main grape varieties of the Veneto province, home to the Arena. It has a rosé colour with violet hues, and notes of redcurrant and red fruits on the nose. On the palate, it is balanced and fresh, with redcurrant and citrus notes accompanying a pleasant touch of minerality.
An everyday rosé wine, ideal with white meats, seasonal vegetables, as well as lake fish or fried dishes. Versatile and pleasant.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 10–12°C.
