TASTING NOTES

Production

The grapes for this Amarone are carefully handpicked and selected, then dried until mid-January in a drying room. They come from the traditional varieties in Valpolicella: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara. The fermentation takes place in two separate steps: it begins with a cold maceration lasting 20 days, followed by the actual alcoholic fermentation for the next 30 days. The aging then occurs in 500-liter French and American oak tonneaux for about 30 months.

Organoleptic Characteristics

In the glass, it displays a stunning intense ruby red color with hints of garnet. On the nose, it bursts with aromas of both fresh and jammy red and black fruits, culminating in a pleasantly persistent balsamic note. On the palate, it is powerful yet elegant, showcasing its softness and persistence, with a notable aromatic aftertaste complemented by the spiciness from the wood aging.

Occasion and Pairing

Ideal for pairing with a red meat main course, especially if slow-cooked, this wine will be your go-to for Sunday gatherings, whether with family or friends.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16–18°C.
