TASTING NOTES

Production

Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Le Ragose is a Veronese red wine primarily made from Corvina grapes, with the addition of Rondinella and Corvinone. The grapes undergo a drying process for about 90 days, followed by aging for 7 to 8 years in 50-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels.

Organoleptic Characteristics

It has an intense garnet red color and on the nose reveals very intense notes, reminiscent of concentrated sour cherry jam. On the palate, it presents a bold and dry flavor, with elegant tannins that are well-suited for aging and bottle longevity.

Occasion and Pairing

Ideal for a special occasion, it pairs perfectly with red meats, such as "bollito con pearà," a traditional Veronese dish made primarily with beef, served with a sauce of grated bread, cheese, marrow, broth, and black pepper.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16–18°C.

Allergens: Solfiti
