South Tyrol South Tyrol DOC Pinot Noir from Cantina di Bolzano is born in the vineyards of Renon and Leitach. Delicate grapes, cross and delight of every winemaker found happily home in South Tyrol. The classic Pinot Noir from Cantina Bolzano is a vintage wine that plays on a fresh, young and crisp interpretation of the grape. After fermentation the wine ages briefly in large wood before going into the bottle. The glass shows a clear and transparent ruby red color, smells of cherry and raspberry, with spicy hints that complete the bouquet. The palate is light and juicy, the fruit is crisp and fresh. Fine tannins and low acidity make it very pleasant and versatile at the table. Try it on white meats or a nice vegetable timbale, on the cheese fresh. Bronze-coloured aluminium walls stand out among the surrounding vineyards, decorated with branches resembling stylised vine leaves. This is the new symbol of Bolzano's winegrowing tradition: the Cantina Bolzano - Kellerei Bozen. The design of the building symbolises the quality and excellence of Alto Adige wines, the first CasaClima Wine®-certified wine cellar. It is here that the winegrowers dedicate themselves to making the wines of Kellerei Bozen unique, combining new knowledge and ancient traditions. Characterised by constant dedication, care before and after harvest and maturation of the wine in the cellars, under the watchful eye of experienced winegrowers, Cantina Bolzano offers an inimitable selection of fine wines. The diversity of the Alto Adige wine region, which is expressed in the nature and wines of the region, offers favourable conditions for the cultivation of varied, quality wines, from the white Gewürztraminer to Alto Adige red wines such as Pinot Noir. Today, 224 winegrowing members work there, united by passion, variety and the tradition of their land.
