Production

The Lagrein Riserva Vigna Castel Ringberg, 100% Lagrein, undergoes a 10-day maceration on the skins followed by malolactic fermentation in wood. It matures for 20 months in French oak barriques and is then aged for a long period in the bottle.

Organoleptic Characteristics

It stands out for its intense, deep garnet red colour and its refined, fruity bouquet: fresh aromas of cranberries, redcurrants and cherries blend with delicate notes of tobacco and chocolate. Soft, velvety tannins. Its fresh, spicy structure, youthful elegance and great charm, combined with a stimulating, mineral finish, are a delight on the palate.

Occasion and Pairing

Excellent with red meats, game and mature cheeses.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 14–16°C.

The winery Elio Grasso is located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, has 42 hectares of which 24 of woods and meadows surrounding the 18 planted vineyards, now a UNESCO Heritage.
