TASTING NOTES

This Metodo Classico sparkling wine from Lombardy is made solely from Pinot Noir grapes and matured on the lees for at least 30 months. Monsupello Brut Rosé is a clear example of Italian sparkling wine excellence. Visual inspection reveals a shimmering salmon-pink colour and a very fine and persistent perlage. The aromas take us back to a floral bouquet of red roses and dog roses, bread crust, citrus peel and wild strawberries. In the mouth it is striking with the creaminess of the bubbles that give a sensation of pure elegance. The length in the mouth is excellent, making it perfect when paired with a seafood risotto, a meat risotto, or as an aperitif with a nice board of cured meats and cheeses. Read more Read less

A historic company born and raised on the first hillside of the Oltrepò Pavese. From the late 1950s to the present day, the family has increasingly focused on the production of quality wines. The 50 hectares of estate vineyards, cultivated to have low yields of grapes per hectare, manual harvesting exclusively in boxes, and grape/wine yields of less than 55% are the Boatti family's commitment to presenting structured and harmonious wines with an impact.
