TASTING NOTES

This Metodo Classico sparkling wine from Lombardy is made solely from Pinot Noir grapes and matured on the lees for at least 30 months. Monsupello Brut Rosé is a clear example of Italian sparkling wine excellence. Visual inspection reveals a shimmering salmon-pink colour and a very fine and persistent perlage. The aromas take us back to a floral bouquet of red roses and dog roses, bread crust, citrus peel and wild strawberries. In the mouth it is striking with the creaminess of the bubbles that give a sensation of pure elegance. The length in the mouth is excellent, making it perfect when paired with a seafood risotto, a meat risotto, or as an aperitif with a nice board of cured meats and cheeses.
