TASTING NOTES

Production

De Bartoli’s Vino Perpetuo Vecchio Samperi is an exceptional wine, produced using the ancient ‘perpetuo’ method, similar to the Spanish solera system, where the wine from each vintage is blended with that of previous vintages in a series of casks, allowing the wine to evolve and acquire a unique complexity and depth, inheriting the history of decades of harvests.

Organoleptic Characteristics

On the nose, this wine releases an incredible aromatic intensity, with notes of dried fruit, dates, figs, caramel, honey and spices, whilst on the palate it proves powerful and enveloping, with a sweetness balanced by vibrant acidity and a long finish, leaving a sensation of warmth and complexity.

Occasion and Pairing

Due to its unique character and richness, Vino Perpetuo Vecchio Samperi is ideal for sipping on its own as a meditation wine, but it also pairs magnificently with dark chocolate desserts, shortbread, blue or mature cheeses, and foie gras dishes, creating an unforgettable pairing.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 14–16°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

De Bartoli

Champagne De Vilmont honours the noble Marquis of St. Crevés, François Alphonse Donatien De Vilmont from the late 1700s. It is said that, as an officer in the royal guards of Louis XVI, after achieving an important military victory against the Austro-Prussian armies, he celebrated on the battlefield of Valmy by swilling a bottle of Champagne. Today, the De Vilmont brand demonstrates the same courage and pride by offering the highest quality product of the renowned AOC region, made from grapes from the Premier Cru Rilly La Montagne area, a short distance from the more famous Reims. Indeed, the world of De Vilmont is interwoven with the noble perlage of its effervescent wines produced according to the Metodo Classico. Name and address of distributor: Serena Wines 1881 SRL, Via Camillo Bianchi, 1 31015 Conegliano (TV). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
