Cantina Contratto was the first Italian winery to make a vintage version of a Classic Method in the area of Asti, in Canelli in Piedmont, thanks to the intuition of Giorgio Rivetti. The underground cellars have been dug into the limestone tuff up to a depth of 32 meters, with a constant and natural temperature, ensuring the perfect environment for bottle fermentation and slow maturation of wines obtained following the Classic Method. Not only great reds: now even the bubbles of Alta Langa bring Piedmont to the top of world enology. The Red Vermouth Contract is a aromatized wine, composed of: white wine, sugar, alcohol, water, aromatic herb extracts and caramel coloring. The aromatic fusion of herbs and spices gently infuses the wine to create a bouquet and a unique taste. Served cold alone, or with a splash of lemon, this Vermouth is also perfect for classic and modern cocktails. To fully appreciate its style, this distillate should be served at a serving temperature of 8/10 ºC.
