TASTING NOTES

Valpolicella Superiore is the result of the same rigorous criteria adopted to produce Amarone. The grapes 70% Corvina and Corvina Grossa, 20% Rondinella, 5% Croatina and 5% Oseleta, are harvested from mid-September to the end of October by hand with scrupulous selection of grapes and grapes, dried for about 45 days. After fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature, Valpolicella ages for 24 months in new barriques and a further 36 months in bottle before being put on the market. The glass has an intense ruby red color, accompanied by notes of blueberry, blackberry, cherry, chocolate, jam, vanilla and sweet spices. A great wine to accompany fatty red meat dishes, grilled meat and braised. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Dal Forno Romano

Along the Lessini mountain range, not far from Verona and in the heart of the Val d'Iliasi, stands Cantina Dal Forno Romano. The redevelopment of the land and the vines proved to be a winning choice thanks to the final result, capable of expressing the love and passion for the area.
