Production

Valpolicella Classico Superiore Rafael comes from the hills of Valpolicella Classica, crafted from a selection of the finest local grapes, mainly Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected. Vinification followed by ageing in oak helps develop structure, complexity and softness while preserving the characteristic freshness of Valpolicella wines. Per 100 ml: E=321 kJ/77 kcal

Organoleptic Characteristics

Deep ruby red in colour, with elegant garnet reflections as it develops. The nose reveals aromas of ripe cherry, berries and plum, complemented by delicate spicy, balsamic and cocoa notes. On the palate, it is warm, smooth and structured, with well-integrated tannins, good freshness and a long, harmonious and persistent finish.

Occasion and Pairing

Perfect for an important dinner or to accompany generous Italian cuisine. Ideal with pasta dishes with ragù, roasted and braised meats, game, grilled red meat and mature cheeses.
