The Roeno winery is located in Valdadige, the valley linking Verona to Trento, where the presence of the Adige River and the biodiversity of nearby Monte Baldo significantly influence the area’s potential for quality, imparting unique aromas and flavours. A potential that the Fugatti family has fully harnessed in their production, utilising native grapes and high-altitude vineyards, alongside a well-established winemaking expertise; indeed, thanks to their knowledge, they have carried out a zoning of the territory to identify the soils best suited to each type of grape variety. The Marzemino Vallagarina IGT La Rua is a grape variety whose origins are lost in the mists of time. The vines are planted on alluvial soil and have an average age of around 30 years. The grapes, selected and harvested by hand, are gently destemmed and crushed; the resulting must undergoes fermentation and ageing in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 23–25°C. The wine is then pumped over to achieve better extraction of colour and organoleptic compounds, which will give the final wine greater structure and aromatic complexity. 100 ml: E = 320.52 kJ/77.89 kcal
