TASTING NOTES

The Enantio Terradeiforti Valdadige or Lambrusco a Foglia Frastagliata is a native grape of Vallagrina, one of the rarest and least known vines in Italy. Present in the area for some time, it is one of the few varieties resistant to phylloxera and therefore not having American cut. Enantio DOC ages in small oak barrels for almost 17 months before being bottled. The color in the glass is dark ruby red and compact. The nose ranges from fruity aromas of blueberry and blackberry, and spicy and toasted notes. The mouthfeel has a good body, with a strong tannins underlined by a sweetness and an almost vegetal note. It is enhanced in combination with grilled or stewed meats, or an excellent Monte Veronese cheese well seasoned. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC.
