TASTING NOTES

The Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Bossanova is a full and structured white that fully represents the varietal character of the grape, with a strong timbre and strong personality. From the crushing of whole clusters added of must flower, it ferments spontaneously without sulfites or other additives and then refines 8 months in cement vitrified before being bottled without any filtration. The nose reveals aromas of yellow fruits and vegetal hints of Mediterranean scrub, intense and incisive. The mouthfeel, rich, lively, fresh and deep, is intriguing and pleasing. This white from Abruzzo is perfect for pairing with tasty seafood dishes, white meats and semi-aged cheeses. To fully appreciate the style, this Trebbiano should be served at a serving temperature of 12/14 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Bossanova

Similarly to Jobim, Moraes and Gilberto who made Bossanova music a mood shared worldwide, Nat Colantonio and Andrea Quaglia produce a wine of terroir but capable of emotional reverberations that aspire to cosmopolitanism. The Bossanova winery presents high-end, indigenous wines from the most significant portion of the Teramo hills wine context: Controguerra. A stone's throw from the sea and smelling of the mountains as only the hills of Abruzzo know how to be, the wines encapsulate and express all this in the simplest and most natural way possible. Name and address of producer/distributor: Cantina Bossanova, Contrada Pignotto, 87, 64010 Controguerra TE. Products should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
