TASTING NOTES

Production

Valentini’s Trebbiano d’Abruzzo is made from selected Trebbiano Abruzzese grapes, grown using the traditional Abruzzo pergola system. Vinification takes place in large oak vats, without the use of steel or barriques, where spontaneous fermentation and ageing occur for around 12 months, followed by a further period of rest in the bottle before release.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Valentini’s Trebbiano d’Abruzzo presents a brilliant golden yellow colour and a complex bouquet of ripe fruit, floral notes, spicy undertones and a vibrant minerality; on the palate it is rich, structured and elegant, with incisive freshness and a long finish.

Occasion and Pairing

Perfect with refined risottos, grilled fish or shellfish, and strong blue cheeses.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 12–14°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Valentini

The noble Valentini family is of Spanish origin and resides in Loreto Aprutino, in the province of Pescara. Since 1600 it has owned the vast estate of the same name where wine, oil and wheat were produced. Today the Valentini winery is managed by Francesco Paolo, a man in love with his work and his wines, with the pleasure of cultivating his own vineyards. In the cellar everything takes place in a sustainable and natural way, without the use of chemical interventions and selected yeasts. The vines cultivated are the Trebbiano and the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Name and address manufacturer/distributor: Azienda Agricola Valentini - Via del Baio, 2 - 65014 Loreto Aprutino (PE). The products of this cellar should be stored in a cool and dry place away from heat sources.
