TASTING NOTES

Luce is the first wine to be produced from a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot in Montalcino. Perfect harmony between structure and elegance of Sangiovese and roundness and roundness of Merlot, it is the symbol wine of Tenuta, capable of representing, harvest after harvest, the original interpretation of the territory. Luce Tenuta Luce consists of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, which are vinified in cement and perform malolactic fermentation and aging in 85% new barriques, 15% second pass for 24 months. To the glass it represents an intense ruby red color, almost impenetrable. The nose reveals intense hints of red fruit, a veiled presence of incense and spicy notes that give the wine an extraordinary complexity. To the taste is found this aromatic complexity supported by an elegant tannic texture that give the wine a unique structure and balance. Perfect with red meat roasts or mixed grills. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC.
