TASTING NOTES

Bolgheri Rosso Le Volte is a dry red wine produced by Ornellaia. The bunches destined for Bolgheri Rosso Le Volte reach full maturity thanks to the maritime climate. This wine consists of a blend of international vines and native Tuscan varieties: 70% Merlot, 15% Sangiovese and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes of each variety, in addition to being meticulously selected, are vinified separately in stainless steel containers. They then age partially for 10 months in barriques previously used for the aging of the great Ornellaia wine, and the remaining part in cement containers. The result is a wine with an intense ruby color. The nose gives off notes of berries such as blackberries and raspberries, with floral tones of red rose and spices, including black pepper and a slight nuance of vanilla. In the mouth it has a good body, is full and with soft tannins, but accompanied by a freshness that revives. Perfect to drink every day, it goes well with red meat dishes. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC.
