A true natural woman: this is how Arianna Occhipinti defines herself, who after finishing her studies in Viticulture and Enology decided to develop her project in her childhood land, Sicily. SP68 is the main road that passes next to the vineyard, but it is also a young, fresh and pleasant wine with a delicate taste that brings with it the taste of the sun and the freshness of this land. Rosso Terre Siciliane SP68 is produced from Frappato grapes for 70% and Nero d'Avola for 30%, which follow a crushing and maceration on the skins. The alcoholic fermentation takes place spontaneously through the indigenous yeasts in cement vats of 85hL for 15 days with daily pumping over and fulling. Racking and aging in the same containers for 7 months. SP68 Rosso di Arianna Occhipinti is a red wine with an intense and luminous ruby color, where the nose releases hints of carob, aromatic herbs, juniper and small red fruits. The palate is balanced, balanced by a right amount of freshness and a delicate tannic clutch. SP68 is excellent on a Sunday in May with friends and a barbecue, perfect to accompany a lamb chop to scottadito. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC.
