Three generations side by side. A family that has been producing wine as its sole occupation for over fifty years. The Inama winery aims to produce a variety of wines whose sole common thread is to reflect the terroir and the full expression of nature, beyond current trends. Located in San Bonifacio, on the border between the Vicenza and Verona regions, Inama is renowned for its production of Soave Classico. A wine made from Garganega grapes, an exceptional variety in this volcanic area that imparts mineral notes and distinctive savoury nuances to the wine. Inama’s Soave Classico represents the true essence of the winery: a classic, indigenous and intense wine. Made from 100% Garganega grapes, the vineyards are situated in the Soave Classico area, where the basalt-lava soil imparts minerality and earthy notes to the wine, making it both pleasant and intriguing. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, they are destemmed and processed using the ‘non-reductive’ technique, i.e. without the addition of sulphur dioxide, so that the indigenous microflora can develop in the must. Skin contact maceration, must decanting and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in stainless steel before bottling. 100 ml: E=293 kJ/70 kcal
The colour is pale yellow. A fine, delicate nose of sweet wildflowers: chamomile, elderflower, iris. On the palate, it is mineral with a sweet almond aftertaste that leaves a clean finish.
It pairs perfectly with traditional local dishes such as stewed baby cuttlefish, fresh ricotta, or seasonal vegetables such as Broccolo Fiolaro, white and green asparagus.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 10–12°C.
