TASTING NOTES

A meeting of three generations. A family that has been producing wines for over fifty years as their only business. Inama farm aims to produce a variety of wines whose only common thread is that they reflect their place of origin and fully express the beauty of nature, disregarding the standards set by current trends. Located in San Bonifacio, on the border between the areas of Vicenza and Verona, Inama is renowned for the production of Soave Classico, a wine made with Garganega grapes, an exceptional variety in this volcanic land which gives the wine its mineral aromas and particular flavours. Soave Classico by Inama embodies the true essence of the winery. It is a classic and intense local wine. It is made exclusively from Garganega grapes. The vineyards are located in the Soave Classico area in basalt lavic soil which releases mineral notes and hints of the countryside into the wine, making it pleasant and intriguing. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, they are destemmed and processed according to the “non-reducing” technique, that is, without the addition of sulphur dioxide so that indigenous microflora have a chance to develop in the must. Pellicular maceration on the skins takes place followed by the decanting of the must and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The wine then undergoes ageing in stainless steel before bottling. It is a light yellow in colour. On the nose, it is fine and delicate with sweet notes of wild flowers: chamomile, elderflower, and iris. The palate has a mineral note with an aftertaste of sweet almonds and a cleansing finish. This wine is ideal for pairing with traditional local dishes such as seppioline in umido, fresh ricotta, and seasonal vegetables including broccolo fiolaro and white or green asparagus. THE WINERY

Inama

A family that has been producing wines for over fifty years as their only business. The Inama company was founded in 1948 by Giuseppe Inama, who started working as an oenologist. Today, the winery is run by the third generation with sons Luca and Alessio. The initial project saw the sole objective of creating a single vision of the area, outside of trendy styles and groups. The company is located on the border between the municipalities of Vicenza and Verona, two very close but very different territories. Having produced wines for more than half a century has led us to develop the fundamental lines of our project: uniqueness of terroir, maximum expression of nature, constant improvement of the route. This area is particularly suited for the production of Soave Classico, because it consists of volcanic soil that gives the wine unique characteristics. Mineral and floral wines, with balance and elegance to fully correspond to the concept of wine above fashion. Today, Inama's estate covers about 30 hectares. Name and address of producer/distributor: Soc. Agricola Eredi di Inama Giuseppe s.s. - Località Biacche, 50 37047 San Bonifacio (VR). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
