Candido Wines is one of the most authentic and representative realities of the contemporary Apulian wine scene, a symbol of identity, innovation, and a deep connection with the Salento region. The project was born with the aim of enhancing the local winemaking tradition through a modern and conscious vision, capable of expressing the richness of the native grape varieties in a clean, precise and territorial style. Candido Wines' philosophy is based on a balance between tradition and contemporary sensibility, in which wine is interpreted as a direct expression of the territory and its Mediterranean character. Attention to the quality of raw materials and the sustainability of agricultural practices represents the starting point for any production choice, with the aim of preserving authenticity and identity. The vineyards are located in the heart of Salento, on calcareous-clayey and sandy soils, exposed to a warm and breezy climate that favors complete ripening of the grapes and a strong aromatic concentration. Native grape varieties such as Negroamaro, Primitivo, and Malvasia Nera are at the heart of production, interpreted in a style that aims to enhance their elegance, drinkability, and territorial character. In the winery, the work follows a modern approach that respects the raw material: controlled vinifications, careful fermentations and refinements designed to maintain freshness, balance and expressive cleanliness. The goal is to obtain immediate yet profound wines, capable of reflecting the personality of the territory without superstructures. Candido Wines are distinguished by a harmonious, fragrant and contemporary style, characterised by ripe fruit, softness and a clear Mediterranean imprint. They are wines designed for a pleasant and versatile drink, capable of describing Salento with elegance and simplicity. Each bottle of Candido Wines is a modern expression of Apulian tradition, a meeting of territory, identity and contemporary vision of wine. Name and manufacturer address: Candido Wines – Via Armando Diaz 46, San Donaci, Salento, Puglia, Italy. Wines should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from sources of heat and direct light.
