THE WINERY

Duca di Dolle

Maison Egly Ouriet is located in the famous Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, within the Montagne de Reims, home of Pinot Noir. The winery was founded in 1946 by Charles Egly, grandfather of the current Francis Egly, who bought the first 3 hectares of vineyards in Ambonnay. Over time, new acres of Grand Cru and Premier Cru were acquired that belonged to Francis' wife, who decided to add her surname to the winery’s name, thus becoming Egly Ouriet. The Maison is part of the «Récoltant Manipulant», working in full respect of the soil, plants and the ecosystem in general, banning the use of chemical products. In the cellar vinification and aging are carried out in stainless steel tanks and Burgundy wooden barrels. The extraordinary ability of Egly Ouriet is to know how to combine in their Champagne the expressive depth and the pleasantness of drink, obtaining surprising results. Name and address manufacturer/distributor: Champagne Egly-Ouriet - 13, Rue Trepail - 51150 Ambonnay - France. The products of this cellar should be stored in a cool and dry place away from heat sources.
