Ancillotto is an iconic winery founded by Desiderio Bisol, a descendant of one of the most historic families in Valdobbiadene. It includes the DOCG line with 50 hectares of cultivated land on the hills of Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO heritage site since 2019 with a production of 200 thousand bottles. The label applied on the bottles is partly reminiscent of that of the film and partly depicts the present with the iconic and modern winery where the processing of the grapes takes place and the typical house of the hills of the place. Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut has a straw yellow color with golden reflections, perlage of fine bubbles, numerous and persistent. Medium-bodied and balanced, with a persistent mineral finish. The nose has floral notes of wisteria, broom and rose. The fruity notes of golden apple, banana and pineapple stand out.
It goes perfectly with creamy risottos, omelettes with vegetables, Catalan salad of crustaceans and gratinated molluscs.
To fully appreciate the style, this wine should be served at a service temperature of 8/10°C.
