Pico Maccario’s Piemonte Viognier Estrosa is made from Viognier grapes grown in the Piedmont hills, in vineyards selected to best express their aromatics and structure. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromas and freshness. Bright straw-yellow colour. On the nose, it opens with notes of peach, apricot, white flowers and subtle exotic hints. On the palate, it is smooth and harmonious, with good freshness, balance and a pleasant, lingering finish.
An aromatic and versatile wine, ideal as an aperitif or paired with fish dishes, Asian cuisine, white meats and fresh cheeses.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 10–12°C.
