Piemonte Sauvignon Vita by Pico Maccario is made from Sauvignon grapes grown in the Piedmont hills, in selected vineyards that favour the aromatic development of the variety. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness, aroma and varietal character. Ageing continues in stainless steel on the fine lees, maintaining a clean, fragrant and immediate style.
Straw-yellow in colour with greenish highlights. On the nose, it reveals notes of citrus, tropical fruit, peach and the herbaceous hints typical of the grape variety. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with good acidity, balance and an aromatic, lingering finish.
A versatile and easy-drinking wine, ideal as an aperitif or paired with fish, shellfish, vegetables and fresh cheeses.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 10–12°C.
