Pico Maccario's Nizza Riserva Epico is made from selected Barbera grapes from the best vineyards in Nizza DOCG. Yields are low and harvesting is manual, to ensure maximum concentration and quality. Winemaking takes place in steel with long macerations on the skins. The refinement takes place for a prolonged period in oak barriques, followed by a further rest in the bottle, which gives complexity, structure and elegance. 100 ml: 362 kJ/89 kcal
Deep deep ruby red color. On the nose it is broad and complex, with notes of blackberry, ripe cherry and plum, accompanied by hints of sweet spices, cocoa, vanilla and light balsamic nuances. On the palate it is rich and structured, with soft tannins, excellent freshness and a long, persistent and harmonious finish.
