The Lugana I Frati of Ca' dei Frati is the symbol of the cellar, fresh and lively, to be drunk young, but to be appreciated even after years of refinement when it reaches a decisive evolution of its mineral notes. Produced entirely from Turbiana grapes, also called Trebbiano di Lugana, coming from vines that reach 40 years of age, which after a careful selection, are fermented and refined in steel, then aged in bottle for 6 months. From straw yellow, the nose is very pleasant, elegant and at the same time delicate, fragrant and with fruity, floral and mineral notes. The sip, fresh and fine, is enriched with a mineral flavor that invokes drinking and lightens the body pleasantly full.
With a long persistence, it is a versatile wine, but that finds the perfect match together with grilled lake fish.
To fully appreciate the style, this wine should be served at a service temperature of 10/12°C.
