Production

The Langhe Nebbiolo Bartolo Mascarello is an elegant and traditional red wine, handcrafted exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes sourced from the Langhe region. It ferments in concrete tanks with native yeasts and ages in large Slavonian oak casks, without the use of barriques, offering a more accessible expression compared to the Barolo from the same winery.

Organoleptic Characteristics

In the glass, the Langhe Nebbiolo Bartolo Mascarello presents a ruby red color with garnet hues. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe red fruits, violet, delicate spices, and a balsamic touch. On the palate, it is well-balanced, with fine tannins, good freshness, and an elegant, persistent finish.

Occasion and Pairing

This Nebbiolo is particularly versatile at the table: it pairs very well with pasta dishes with meat sauces, light roasts, charcuterie, and aged cheeses, as well as dishes with mushrooms and truffles. It is ideal for everyday drinking or convivial moments, and also serves as a perfect introduction to the more complex style of Barolo Mascarello.
