Friulano San Pietro comes from 60-year-old vineyards in Rosazzo, in the Colli Orientali and in particular from that part of the Galea occupied by green tocai, a biotype of tocai that differs from the yellow tocai (finer and destined for the two crus Galea and Brazan) due to its greater aromatic fragrance. The production process takes place in stainless steel, where the resting period on fine lees varies from six to eight months. On the nose it is reminiscent of flowers and field grasses: a subtle, almost smoky nose, played on reduction. So is the palate: full, contrasting, savoury, with a hazelnut finish typical of the variety. The delicacy of this white wine makes it a product that can be enjoyed every day, as an optimal pairing with fish and shellfish based dishes.
