TASTING NOTES

When one speaks of Bellavista, one speaks of the history of Franciacorta and Italian wine, one of the best known and most successful brands. The company came to life in 1977 when Vittorio Moretti decided to invest in the countryside around Erbusco with the intention of rivalling the better known French in the production of Metodo Classico sparkling wine. The name of the winery derives from the hill on which it stands, which looks out over Lake Iseo, the Po Valley and the nearby Alps. Today, Bellavista counts on over two hundred hectares divided into more than one hundred plots scattered throughout the DOC zone's territory for its range of climatic and geological micro-diversity that is unique at a national level and that allows it to have wines that exemplify what Franciacorta has to offer. The pure side of Franciacorta, Bellavista Non Dosato represents the true contemporary expression of a sensory profile that characterises this cuvée by full flavour, freshness, finesse, elegance and agility. Consisting of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, its origin is the Bellavista vineyards and it has fulfilled the need to have a product that satisfies a taste that has become established over the last 10 years, which is that for wines that are low or not dosed. A first step towards creating a line of non vintage wines that will complement the Bellavista Alma with the addition of a rosé. The image of Bellavista Non Dosato responds to the aesthetic choices, the fresh and contemporary taste, so as to create a sensory link between the essence of the product and the harmony of the form. The colour of the wine is straw yellow with green reflections, the perlage is fine and continuous. Fresh, deep aromas range from fresh flowers to white fruit, while the palate is savoury, fresh and sharp, complex with a long, bright finish. A wine of substance, class and elegance. This sparkling wine from Lombardy is perfect for an occasion such as a romantic dinner and as a pairing with fish and shellfish dishes.

Born in 1977 from the vision of Vittorio Moretti, Bellavista is today one of the emblematic cellars of Franciacorta. Located on the hill of the same name between Lake Iseo, the Po Valley and the Alps, it stands out for the production of elegant and refined sparkling wines.
