Bariselli’s Franciacorta Brut Millesimato Camouflage is produced exclusively in vintages deemed most suitable, from selected grapes grown in the estate’s vineyards situated in the heart of Franciacorta. The blend consists mainly of Chardonnay, with a proportion of Pinot Noir, harvested by hand and subjected to soft pressing. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel, whilst the second fermentation in the bottle follows the Metodo Classico. Ageing on the lees is particularly prolonged, as required by the vintage-designated style, and helps to give the wine greater complexity, structure and aromatic depth. The Brut dosage maintains balance and elegance, enhancing the expression of the vintage. E=100 ml: 306 kJ / 73 kcal
It has an intense, bright straw-yellow colour, with a fine, persistent effervescence. On the nose, it reveals complex aromas of ripe white-fleshed fruit, candied citrus and light tropical notes, accompanied by hints of yeast, bread crust and delicate pastry nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping, with a creamy effervescence, well-integrated freshness and a long, elegant and harmonious finish.
A Franciacorta of great character and refinement, ideal for special occasions and to accompany the entire meal. It pairs perfectly with substantial fish dishes, shellfish, refined pasta dishes, white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.
