Etna Bianco Pietrarizzo comes from the district of the same name located on the northern slope of Etna, known as the most suitable for high quality production. More precisely we are in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, 650 metres above sea level. Etna Bianco Tornatore is made from Carricante grapes, native vines that express themselves fantastically in this magical place on volcanic soil. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly taken to the cellar where further sorting takes place, followed by cellar operations which end with a five-month period of ageing on the fine lees in oak barrels. Contrada Pietrarizzo offers the excitement of a great white wine that combines freshness and aromatic depth. Intense straw yellow colour with brilliant reflections. The olfactory profile is complex, with aromas of grapefruit, white fruit, exotic fruit and delicately spicy nuances. On the palate it is satisfying, with ripe, rich fruit, accompanied by lively freshness and a savoury and mineral finish. Recommended pairing with seafood risotto, white meats or stewed fish.
