TASTING NOTES

Production

This Bianco di Custoza has a fresh, fruity character. Given its aromatic profile, the Fernanda grapes are macerated separately from the other grapes before pressing. After fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel before bottling and release. Per 100ml: 311kJ-74kcal

Organoleptic Characteristics

This Custoza is a pleasant and highly drinkable white wine from Veneto. In the glass, it is straw-yellow in colour with hints of pale green; on the nose, citrus and green apple notes alternate with hints of flowers and cut grass, which return on the palate alongside the acidity and savouriness typical of wines from the Lake Garda basin.

Occasion and Pairing

Ideal as an everyday wine, this Custoza proves to be very versatile with food; recommended with fish and shellfish, and worth trying with white meats and egg pasta.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 10–12°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Cavalchina

The Cavalchina area is located at the south-eastern end of the Garda morainic amphitheatre, and it is here that the winery of the same name is located. The history of it is very old: in fact, it dates back to the mid-19th century. Innovation and the study of new technologies blend harmoniously with the oldest traditions, handed down from generation to generation, allowing you to discover the best of Veneto wines in every glass. The biodiversity and unique properties of the soil in this area have made its potential for wine growing clear from the beginning. Attention to detail and care for the land will help you discover a quality wine, ready to be savoured. The need to bring only the best wines into the wine cellar explains the varied production, which leads the company to produce different wines every year. Fun fact: Cantina Cavalchina is responsible for the creation and designation of Custoza, the white wine of the area, making an important contribution to local history. Name and address of producer/distributor: Cavalchina - Via Sommacampagna, 7, Custoza - Sommacampagna 37066 V). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
