TASTING NOTES

Champagne Extra Brut Cuvée Vintage consists of a blend of 75% Pinot Noir, from the historic vineyards of Pierry, Epernay, Tauxières and Verzenay and 25% Chardonnay from the vineyards of Pierry, Chouilly and Barbonne. Champagne Cuvée Vintage expresses the true potential of aging, with a bottle aging of over 10 years. The glass has a brilliant straw yellow color and is expressed with a remarkable balance and crispness. It seems to be a wine still very young and with a great prospect of aging over time. The palate expresses notes of yeast and dried fruit, with a citrus finish, alive and pleasant. Bouche Champagne is perfect in combination with foie-gras or with blue cheeses. To fully appreciate its style, this Champagne should be served at a serving temperature of 8/10 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Bouche

Maison Bouché is located in Epernay, between the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs. For more than a century the Maison has been designing its Champagne in the secret of its historic cellars dating back to the nineteenth century, located on the border between the capital Epernay and the village Pierry Premier Cru. Nicolas Bouché, the house’s cellarman and great-grandson of the founder, puts a point of honor in the expression of the French art of living, synonymous with refinement and elegance. The Maison mostly processes its own grapes, buying some from trusted vigneron, not labeling Premier Cru or Gran Cru but refining some labels several months before disgorgement. Name and address manufacturer/distributor: Maison Bouché - 10, Rue du Général de Gaulle - 51530 Pierry - France. The products of this cellar should be stored in a cool and dry place away from heat sources.
