TASTING NOTES

Production

Champagne Extra Brut Cuvée Vintage is a blend of 75% Pinot Noir, sourced from the historic vineyards of Pierry, Epernay, Tauxières and Verzenay, and 25% Chardonnay from the vineyards of Pierry, Chouilly and Barbonne. Champagne Cuvée Vintage expresses its true ageing potential, with over 10 years of bottle ageing.

Organoleptic Characteristics

In the glass, it presents a brilliant straw-yellow colour and displays remarkable balance and freshness. It appears to be a wine that is still very young, with great potential for maturation over time. On the palate, it reveals notes of yeast and dried fruit, with a lively and pleasant citrus finish.

Occasion and Pairing

Champagne de Bouche is perfect paired with foie gras or blue-veined cheeses.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this Champagne should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.

THE WINERY

Bouche

Maison Bouché is located in Epernay, between the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs. For more than a century the Maison has been designing its Champagne in the secret of its historic cellars dating back to the nineteenth century, located on the border between the capital Epernay and the village Pierry Premier Cru. Nicolas Bouché, the house’s cellarman and great-grandson of the founder, puts a point of honor in the expression of the French art of living, synonymous with refinement and elegance. The Maison mostly processes its own grapes, buying some from trusted vigneron, not labeling Premier Cru or Gran Cru but refining some labels several months before disgorgement. Name and address manufacturer/distributor: Maison Bouché - 10, Rue du Général de Gaulle - 51530 Pierry - France. The products of this cellar should be stored in a cool and dry place away from heat sources.
