Although the Maison has achieved undisputed worldwide fame and prestige even among the royal family, it is family-run, so much so that it is called the largest small Champagne house. Pol Roger created his Prestige Cuvée as a tribute to Sir Winston Churchill, mindful of the qualities he liked and sought in Champagne: robustness, character and maturity on the palate. The range of bottles produced is recalled by the classic Brut Reserve, a symbol of style for Pol Roger, accompanied by Reserve Champagnes. Excellence is translated into rigorous viticulture through a strict selection of the best grapes. Members of the Pol Roger family oversee all operations from the vineyard to the winery, including vinification activities. The grapes come almost exclusively from Grand Crus vineyards. That is why, every year, the family cares for and chooses the best blends, in search of the best cuvée.
