TASTING NOTES

Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Loreto consists of only Sangiovese grapes that age for 36 months in Allier oak barrels of 16-25-33hl, followed by a further aging in bottle for 6-8 months. The glass has a deep and brilliant ruby red color, revealing notes of ripe red fruit, embellished by the embrace of oriental spices, vegetable leaves and fresh tobacco. The palate is broad and enveloping, supported by a powerful and mature tannin that progresses over time in a silky and elegant finish. Vigna Loreto is excellent to drink in company, but also in combination with a wild boar meat or a fillet of beef. To fully appreciate its style, this Brunello di Montalcino must be served at a serving temperature of 14/16 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Mastrojanni

Since 1975, Cantina Mastrojanni has been writing Italian wine history with its Tuscan wines of excellence, achieving local and international recognition. One of the best-known producers of Brunello di Montalcino, the Mastrojanni winery has been able to make a qualitative change to the area's wine, employing traditional techniques combined with a strong passion for nature and the history of the land. The Mastrojanni farm is located in the heart of the Brunello land, in the province of Siena, where an ancient artistic and cultural tradition meet in an area dedicated to the production of this important wine, an area with varied and unique soils. Carrying on the traditions of Brunello processing, Mastrojanni opts to use brushed concrete vitrified wine vessels, essential in the micro-oxygenation process, to achieve the balance and taste of traditional Tuscan red wines. Today, the company works with more than 200 associate producers, involved in all processes, from grape picking to vinification in the winery, to ensure the production of a unique, high-quality Brunello di Montalcino. Name and address of producer/distributor: Mastrojanni - Poderi Loreto, 53024 Castelnuovo dell'Abate (SI). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
