Production

The Brunello di Montalcino Pian delle Vigne by Antinori is a Tuscan red wine made from Sangiovese grapes. After a gentle crushing, the grapes are transferred to stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation, with 15 days of maceration. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to large wooden barrels, ranging in size from 30 to 80 hL, for two years of aging. It then undergoes a long bottle aging process.

Organoleptic Characteristics

In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red color. The nose is complex, offering a range of sensations from red fruits to tertiary notes such as chocolate, tobacco, and spices. On the palate, the wine is bold and robust, with a good freshness and well-rounded tannins.

Occasion and Pairing

An excellent wine to accompany your Sunday meals, it pairs well with braised red meats, game, or aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature
