Production

It is a Barolo for connoisseurs and true enthusiasts, which, after a long maturation in wood, undergoes an additional 7 years of aging in the cellars of Roberto Voerzio before being released on the market.

Organoleptic Characteristics

It is a red of extraordinary elegance and finesse, complex and persistent, capable of blending floral notes, fruity aromas, and refined tertiary evolution scents. Already ready to drink, it is a wine with remarkable aging potential. In the glass, it presents a garnet red color. The bouquet offers delicate aromas of violets and dried rose petals, small red fruits, sour cherries, soft spices, dark chocolate, and leather. The taste is long and deep, with an elegant tannic texture, very complex aromas, and a fresh, highly persistent finish.

Occasion and Pairing

Perfectly paired with red meats in general, game, and aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature

A different story. The winery of Roberto Voerzio has remained family run, where all the works of the vineyard and cellar are carried out according to experience, tradition and passion. Roberto’s wines tell a different story every year, based on the weather of the season. The terroir has changed over the years, choosing a production of wines in the most prestigious Cru for the production of Barolo, Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo. For almost thirty years, the vineyards have been cultivated with the utmost respect for nature. After each harvest, manual fertilization is carried out, chemical fertilizers, herbicides, anti-mould or other substances that interfere with the vegetative cycle of the vine and the ripening of the grapes are not used.
