Production

Vietti Barolo Lazzarito is a dry red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, sourced from the renowned Lazzarito vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba, where Vietti owns 2 hectares. In the cellar, the must undergoes a long fermentation and extraction process using the submerged cap technique, followed by maturation in both large and small oak barrels for approximately 30 months.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Vietti Barolo Lazzarito presents a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose is intriguing, offering mentholated notes alongside hay, ripe fruit, tobacco, white pepper, and underbrush. On the palate, it is explosive yet elegant, with a strong structure, great complexity, and a very long finish.

Vietti Barolo Lazzarito is a Piedmontese red wine to be enjoyed on special occasions, perfect for letting breathe before drinking or observing as it evolves in the glass. It pairs wonderfully with red meats, game, and stews.
