TASTING NOTES

Barolo Brunate is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, coming from the historic MGA Brunate vineyard in the municipality of La Morra, on the south side towards Barolo. The grapes are harvested manually and pressed gently, then following fermentation in steel in contact with the skins for about three weeks. This time includes pre- and post-fermentative maceration with the use of the traditional submerged hat method. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in wood. Aging for about 32 months between barriques and large oak barrels. Bottled without filtration. The glass has an intense ruby red color, while the nose is explosive with fruity notes of plum, citrus of cedar and grapefruit, with a spicy finish. With the passing of the minutes to the glass, there are scents of violet, characteristic of the terroir of Brunate. The palate is intense and full. The tannins are soft, round, velvety, typical of the territory of La Morra. The finish has a hint of licorice root. Barolo Brunate is excellent in combination with dishes of game, roast or with well-aged cheeses. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC. THE WINERY

Vietti

In the heart of the Langhe, an area known for the production of the traditional Barolo, Cantina Vietti has stood for four generations. However, it was in the 1960s that Alfredo Currado revolutionised wine production, from monovarietal vinification to Etichette d'Autore, original Vietti wines created by artists and inspired by a specific vintage. In the following years, the Vietti family continued along the road of experimentation in search of quality, contributing to the creation of one of the most renowned brands of Piedmontese wine made in Italy. To this day, Cantina Vietti, acquired by Krause Holdings, combines the traditions and passion carried on for generations with innovative techniques to ensure the production of high quality wines and an a href="https://www.signorvino.com/it/vini/inno_alla_natura/">viticoltura and sustainable viticulture that enhances and safeguards the surrounding terroir. The end result of the excellent Piedmontese wines produced by Cantina Vietti, which convey the love for the surrounding area and the dedication of its producers, can be appreciated on the palate. Name and address of producer/distributor: Vietti - Piazza Vittorio Veneto, 5, 12060 Castiglione Falletto (CN). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
