The Fratelli Revello winery is led by the third generation, which for many years has decided to adopt sustainable agriculture, with particular attention to the use of chemical products in the vineyard and in modern winemaking practices in the winery. Fratelli Revello's Barolo DOCG is produced from Nebbiolo grapes, grown in vineyards located throughout the Annunziata area, a superior quality Cru of Morra, a town in Langhe renowned for its charm and for the remarkable quality of the wines produced in this area. Fratelli Revello's Barolo DOCG is a pure and complex wine, undergoing maceration on the skins in horizontal roto-macerators and fermentation in stainless steel tanks for about 10/15 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Ageing takes place in used French oak barriques for 24 months, followed by further bottle ageing for about 4 years. With a refined, monovarietal aromatic profile: a fruity dimension, of currants and raspberries, accompanied by notes of red flowers and violets, such as rose and violet, followed by a very delicate and continuous hint of herbaceous and spicy notes. The palate balances perfectly between acidity and flavour with very fine mineral hints. Nervous tension and proverbial persistence, make this an unforgettable wine! Leave to age in the cellar for a few years. Ideal with truffle and caciocavallo cheese-based bruschetta, traditional Ischian bucatini with rabbit sauce or simply lamb with potatoes.
