TASTING NOTES

Production

The Bardolino DOC from Vigne di San Pietro is a blend of Corvina, Merlot, and Rondinella grapes, hand-harvested in the early months of October. This red wine ages in stainless steel tanks for 6 months and then undergoes a minimum of 3 months of bottle aging before being released.

Organoleptic Characteristics

This Veneto red wine has a fine and delicate character, displaying a light ruby red color. The nose is guided by the freshness and fragrance of red fruits, along with a floral note of violet. On the palate, the wine immediately showcases its refreshing drinkability, with hints of tart fruit like currant, a light spiciness of black pepper, and a composed tannin structure.

Occasion and Pairing

An ideal wine for everyday enjoyment, it pairs wonderfully with local cured meats.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 14-16°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Le Vigne di San Pietro

Along the San Pietro area, among the morainic hills of Lake Garda, lies the Vigne di San Pietro winery and their extraordinary wine production. Since its foundation, this family-run company has carried on the area's agricultural tradition, skilfully combining it with the most modern technologies for anorganic and sustainable cultivation that could protect the land and, at the same time, enhance all its characteristics. From this painstaking work, the result of many studies, come high-quality Veneto wines. The clay and moraine soil, very calcareous and rich in minerals, is cultivated in full respect of its nature and characteristics. A land that has always been devoted to viticulture and that today offers cultivations of Bardolino and Valpolicella that can tell one of the most authentic sides of the Veneto in every glass. Name and address of producer/distributor: Le Vigne di San Pietro - via S. Pietro, 23, 37066 Sommacampagna VR. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
