TASTING NOTES

Le Vigne di San Pietro is a small estate located on the morainic hills of San Pietro a Sommacampagna, between Verona and Lake Garda. The varieties present in the vineyards of Vigne di Santo Pietro are Garganega, Trebbiano, Trebbianello, Manzoni Bianco, Cortese for white berried grapes, Corvina, Rondinella, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for red berried grapes. The Bardolino DOC delle Vigne di San Pietro, is a blend of Corvina, Merlot and Rondinella grapes, which are harvested by hand in early October. Red wine that ages in steel tanks for 6 months and ends its journey with a rest in bottle of at least 3 months. This is a Venetian red wine with a fine and delicate character that has a pale ruby red color. The freshness and fragrance of red fruits guide the nose, along with a floral note of violet. In the mouth emerges immediately this important freshness of drink, with flavors of unripe fruit such as currant, a slight spiciness of black pepper and a compound tannin.
