TASTING NOTES

Production

This Bardolino is made from Corvina and Rondinella grapes, with a touch of Molinara; it is aged in stainless steel in contact with its own yeasts for around six months, resulting in a Venetian red wine characterised by excellent freshness and drinkability.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Transparent ruby red in colour and very light in the glass, the nose is distinguished by a crystal-clear definition of the most typical and essential notes of Corvina, such as cherry and morello cherry, with a very pleasant peppery touch. The palate is vibrant and slender, characterised by acidity and savouriness.

Occasion and Pairing

Ideal as an everyday wine or as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with white meats and cured meats, and is also recommended slightly chilled with lake and river fish.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 14–16°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Cavalchina

The Cavalchina area is located at the south-eastern end of the Garda morainic amphitheatre, and it is here that the winery of the same name is located. The history of it is very old: in fact, it dates back to the mid-19th century. Innovation and the study of new technologies blend harmoniously with the oldest traditions, handed down from generation to generation, allowing you to discover the best of Veneto wines in every glass. The biodiversity and unique properties of the soil in this area have made its potential for wine growing clear from the beginning. Attention to detail and care for the land will help you discover a quality wine, ready to be savoured. The need to bring only the best wines into the wine cellar explains the varied production, which leads the company to produce different wines every year. Fun fact: Cantina Cavalchina is responsible for the creation and designation of Custoza, the white wine of the area, making an important contribution to local history. Name and address of producer/distributor: Cavalchina - Via Sommacampagna, 7, Custoza - Sommacampagna 37066 V). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
