The Barbaresco Asili di Carlo Giacosa is an elegant red wine, produced with a selection of the best Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the Asili cru in Barbaresco, with spontaneous fermentation for 45-60 days of maceration on the skins. It is then aged in French oak barrels. The bouquet is broad and floral with notes of sweet and ripe fruit. On the palate its taste is elegant, pleasant, balanced and of good structure. The Barbaresco Asili di Carlo Giacosa is perfect to drink in combination with main dishes based on red meat, such as roasts and braised meats or with a tasty risotto with porcini mushrooms. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC.
